Our Vision

Economic Well Being

The council will support activity that helps the town’s economy sustain itself and hopefully grow stronger and become vibrant with a diverse range of shops and employment opportunities for our residents. We will support the promotion of the local shops through our social media outlets including the Community’s Llygad Penmaenmawr Eye website and newsletters. We will provide small grants to volunteer groups that wish to hold events in the centres.

Environmental Well Being

The council will continue to promote environmental improvements in the town through the employment of our Civic Pride Wardens, as well as funding environmental improvements directly including painting of railings, maintenance of footpaths and working with other Town Councils to ensure regular grass cutting. In addition we will continue to provide small grants to volunteer groups making our town look great.

Social Well Being

The council will continue to work with local volunteer groups who provide important support to our vulnerable residents, as well as supporting those volunteer groups that promote healthy living and resilience to our residents. We will support these groups financially and through local promotion as well as working in partnership and acting as a catalyst for more strategic community wide activities.
